-- The cause for this error may be that you are working offline. Make sure that you are not working offline in the Business Intelligence Development Studio - SSIS menu - uncheck Work Offline.

-- Another cause may be that you didn't acquire any connection. Remember to call to the method AcquireConnections(null) of the CManagedComponentWrapper object before trying to obtain metadata;
