SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is the reason behind this site! Just for completeness I thought I'd include it as an entry in the Glossary. SSIS first shipped with SQL Server 2005, as an enterpise quality ETL tool, and the sucessor to Data Transformation Services (DTS) from SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000.
